Intro to 3D Graphics

Intro to 3D Graphics 2015-16 – In this course students learn to understand and manipulate digitally simulated 3D space using Cinema4D and Sculptris. Starting from primitives, students create 3D models, scenes, and basic animations. Students generate high resolution rendered scenes and animations that meet the criteria of each lesson and final project.

Mr. Coan loves cameras so the students first assignment using Cinema 4D was to create a camera in 3D space. Below is a slideshow of the results!

The first challenge in class is to create planetary objects using Sculptris. This lets students familiarize themselves with working in 3D space.
