This is the archive page for Digital Imaging and Collage work at CCHS.

One of the more challenging assignments for students is the self-portrait project. Historically they become some of the more beautiful designs all semester! Enjoy!

In an early assignment students were tasked with the lost art of Album Cover Design. They re-imagined a cover of their favorite band, or in certain cases, a band of their own! Students designed both front and back covers using the traditional size of classic LP records.

Here is a gallery of the Movie Poster project in which students created posters for movies that do not exist, based on books or stories they created themselves.

Below is a gallery of the Digital Narrative projects in which students were tasked with creating a visual narrative contained within a single extended frame. The format is based loosely on the idea of a scroll and students developed their narratives on existing stories or created new ideas themselves.  Enjoy!

The Vivian Maier project was a class collaborative collage. Students saw a film about Vivian’s life and were each assigned a tile segment of one of Vivian’s self-portraits. Doing further research the students overlaid their own creative interpretations of the story. The tiles were then re-joined into the large collage pictured below.
